The New Pushpa Update Will Get Your Feet Tapping To Its Catchy Beat

Allu Arjun fans are pumped up beyond belief for his upcoming pan-India action thriller, Pushpa. Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of the film, are releasing an update everyday, leading up to 13th August, the day of the launch of the first single from Pushpa The Rise. But what is so special about 13th August, you may ask. It is not Allu Arjun’s birthday, nor the birthday of any of the rest of the cast or the director.

For those who don’t know, 13th August was the original release date of Pushpa, as announced by Mythri Movie Makers earlier this year. But due to the Covid-19 shutdown, the Pushpa release date has been postponed to Christmas 2021.

This evening, the official social media handle of Pushpa The Rise dropped a new update – it teased the Tamil version of the first single to be released from the film. The Tamil version of the single is titled “Odu Odu Aadu”, and it boasts a catchy beat and a lively rhythm. Of course, all the different language versions of the song have the exact same composition – only the singers and lyrics are different. Odu Odu Aadu has been sung by singer Benny Dayal, with lyrics by Viveka. The music of the film is composed by long-time Allu Arjun collaborator, Devi Sri Prasad.

Pushpa is a crime and action thriller, set in the backdrop of the world of illegal Sandalwood smuggling in the Seshachallam Hills of Andhra Pradesh. It is a pan-India film, which will release in five languages – Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. It has been written and directed by Sukumar. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead opposite Allu Arjun. Fahadh Faasil plays a significant role in the film, though there’s not much info as to what his role is about.
