Corey Seaver

Acting

Corey Seaver is an American actor and filmmaker. Born on May 18, 1992 in Santa Rosa, California, he is the youngest of two and of Chinese and Irish ancestry. Both parents were software engineers. He has had a deep fondness for film ever since he was small, and spent the majority of his teenage years gathering an eclectic taste in every genre. Following high school graduation, he studied theatre and eventually dropped out entirely to focus on providing for himself. After several failed retail jobs and finding himself on a metaphorical ledge, Seaver discovered a new summons in the form of a background casting call for the second season of controversial Netflix series "13 Reasons Why", of which he states 'saved his life'. About halfway through production, he received his first film appearance as background in the 2018 Marvel Cinematic Universe entry "Ant-Man and the Wasp". Following this, the opportunities began piling up and following completion of earlier mentioned series' third season, Seaver began obtaining speaking roles in student and independent films, as well as taking scene study courses at the San Francisco branch of the Beverly Hills Playhouse. In early 2020, Seaver upped his creative abilities a level when he wrote, directed, shot and starred in a segment for the horror film "Ted Bundy Had a Son". Recently, Seaver has been writing screenplays starring a character he created while working on "13", named Peyton Prescott, who shares much of his personality and behaviors. He is currently preparing to produce a short film featuring the character, as a means of coping with some of his traumatic past.
